Individual Psychotherapy
I like to take an active and focused approach to therapy to help you understand the root of your problem, decrease symptoms, and improve your relationships and your sense of self. I strive to make our working relationship one that is collaborative, supportive, and empathic.
I believe meaningful work can occur in a shortened period of time, making therapy cost effective. I am flexible in my approach, and integrate the most current findings from neuroscience and psychology to tailor treatment to your needs.

Supervision and Training
I offer training and supervision in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy for licensed therapists.
I completed my core training in ISTDP in 2009 at the Washington School Psychiatry (3-year training program under Jon Frederickson) and have done continued training and supervision with Jon Frederickson and Allan Abbass since.
I currently conduct individual supervision in ISTDP, and teach a graduate level course in ISTDP at Marymount University
Both individual and group supervision is done over Zoom videoconference, thus allowing you more flexibility for scheduling supervision time.
